For Those We Lost and Those Still Serving

Being in the military is one of the hardest sacrifices anyone can make. It’s not just about putting your life on the line for family or friends—it’s for the community, for strangers, for a country that doesn’t always show its gratitude. That sacrifice is priceless, and while we can never fully repay it, we can ensure our brothers and sisters are supported when they return home.
I carry the weight of losing a friend back in 2020. He felt abandoned by the very community he swore to protect. While I was deployed, he made the heartbreaking decision to take his own life. I tried to help from where I was, but it wasn’t enough. That loss stays with me every single day. I miss him, and I always will.
That’s why I created Foxtrot Oscar Victor (FOV). This isn’t just another nonprofit—it’s my life’s mission. FOV stands for "For Our Veterans," because I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure no veteran feels forgotten or alone. If it means giving you the shirt off my back, I’ll do it. If it means staying up all night to talk, I’m here. If you need a place to turn, a friend to call, or just someone who gets it—I’m your guy.
This is about us coming together as a village. It’s about showing veterans that they are loved, valued, and never forgotten. For those we’ve lost, we honor them by ensuring no one else falls through the cracks. Let’s prove to their families that their sacrifice wasn’t in vain, and that we’ll never stop fighting for those who fought for us.
I need you. We need you. If you’re struggling, reach out. If you’re doing okay, be there for someone who isn’t. Together, we can make sure no one walks this path alone. For those we’ve lost, for those still with us, and for the love we share as a community of veterans—let’s show the world what "For Our Veterans" truly means. I will never forget. Neither should you.
